June 9, 2022
We will be rehearsing outside, so be sure to use sunscreen and bring plenty of water. If you have a stand please bring it, we sometimes run short. Set up and tear down go faster with more hands; if you are able to come early and help set up that would be much appreciated -- as well as staying a couple minutes after rehearsal to help load the truck. Please note that our rehearsal will end at 8:30 due to the sunsetting. It is very important everyone have their music in order and be ready to play at 7 sharp.

Director Notes
From Jen:
Please take a minute or 7 to listen to this recording from last week. Follow along in your part and make notes. Besides percussion, the balance is pretty accurate in the recording. Percussion was really not that loud. (Mailchimp won't allow me to attach or imbed music files so I can only link to the recording, sorry.)

Other Items
We received three applications for our Music Direct/Conductor(s) opening. You might be familiar with them: Daphne Wright, Jen Daigle and Stephanie Brauns. Before our July 7th rehearsal, we will be conducting a business meeting from 6:30 - 7 for the band to share their thoughts on the applicants with the director search committee. We want input from all members, so even if you are not playing with us this summer, please join us to share your thoughts
